DLA President & CEO, David Fleming, and DLA Board Chair, Jennifer Milton: Activating the Community in 2021

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

We have all said at some point, “if we can just save one person, it will have been worth the effort.” During the last year – a year full of seemingly endless obstacles – you did it! As a Community, our collective efforts have helped to save and heal the lives of not just one person, but thousands, while providing hope to those still in need and bringing comfort and support to the families of generous donors.

The last year was well worth the effort. The number of Americans registered to be an organ, eye and tissue donor increased to 169 million. Your collaboration assisted Donate Life America in activating corporate partners who have championed the cause of donation and transplantation through their networks and communities; inspired trust and action through partnerships in diverse communities; increased reach to new audiences through digital marketing; brought together leaders and influencers from across the Community to help develop and share Donate Life messaging, programs and campaigns; and provided vital financial support that makes this work possible.

Your choice to engage and support Donate Life America and be a part of the Donate Life Community is an incredible gift, a gift that is honored through the work and successes detailed in this update.

We cannot thank you enough for your partnership and support that has helped drive our mission and activate our communities over the past year. We are proud that you have chosen to be on our team, and we look forward to working with you over the next year as we all know there is much more to be done to provide hope, healing and life to as many people as possible.

With gratitude,

Jennifer Milton, Chair, Board of Directors

G. David Fleming, CEO, Donate Life America
