As a resident of Louisiana, you should take the following steps to ensure your decision to become a donor is carried out:

• Sign up online in the Louisiana Organ and Tissue Donor Registry by visiting http://www.donatelifela.org.
• Indicate your wishes on your driver's license or state ID when you apply for or renew it.
